School buses become rolling billboards in Cumberland County
Cumberland County School District is getting creative. They’re using their school buses as rolling billboards and making profit off of the advertisements.
The district will not receive a chunk of federal funds this year from the McKinney Vento Act, aimed at providing resources for the county’s homeless children.
The 40 ads that they’ve sold so far will make up for about half of the $22,000 loss.
